Une decharge de la vie

Made this last week. After trying out coloring a sketch of my girlfriend with a pastel brush and liking how vivid the colors were, I decided to do an all-pastel picture (oh, except the outline is in wax crayon).

Just sorta turned out awesome. It's 1280 x 780 pixels and it's in HD, so you can use it as a wallpaper if you'd like.

For anybody not in the know, the symbol is my symbol for my made-up religion's goddess of life (and death), Gaia. It's a combination of the astronomical symbols for Uranus (of which Gaia is based on) and Taurus (Gaia's associated a lot with cattle). If you notice, the symbol looks a lot like Gaia with her head turned upwards. It wasn't intentional, but I've totally capitalized on it.

The name ("Une décharge de la vie," dA won't allow the accent over the "e") is French for "A Shock of Life." The original English title was "Electric Life."
