Cold Heart

Was going to post this on Christmas Eve, but I'll probably be busy then so I gave in and decided to post it now. I'm going to be busy for the rest of the days before Christmas with a Band concert, college applications, and my picture for *coralyoshi's Secret Santa project.

This is an image I've had in my mind since I was finishing up Fallen Matriarch. It was reinforced even more by the fantastically romantic fanfare at the end of "Charge of the Bat Mobile" from Tim Burton's Batman movie's soundtrack, and the urgent, haunting V2 Schneider by Philip Glass, David Bowie, and Brian Eno.

And that's all I'm going to say. The second entry in my Shadow Apocalypse series, Cold Heart, isn't coming out until after the new year, but I couldn't hold this image inside any longer. Consider it a promotional image, and a taste of what to expect in Link's adventure in the northern mountains of Snowhead.
