CSS Header 2009 8 - Renbaku

Remember him? [link]

Well, I've been drawing him a lot lately, mainly as a sort of evil character; he's changed from the God of Sleep to the God of Altered Consciousness; so on top of being the God of Sleep he's also the God of Trances, Intoxication, Hypnosis, etc. I've got two or three pictures of him stealing little children from their parents. D8 Kids, don't trust a big tapir with an evil top hat druggie!

Because Victor, on the other hand, hasn't been drawn much, I've replaced him with Count Renbaku for the 8^th header in my 2009 series of Journal Headers, of which I rotate between each journal entry.

This is almost the very same picture of Renbaku, complete with the super-creepy ghostly moans of the Tomb Raider Legend music when you're next to King Arthur's grave and the portal to the World of Dreams, except there's no little girl and the perspective is from the front of the portal instead of the side. You can't see the black tentacle-like light emitting from the portal all that well, though, because I had to cut it out of the left end of the picture (as you can see). It's still there on the right, but harder to see.

Doggone it, I forgot Sage's emblem on Renbaku's hat. And lolz, the hat snorts opium into his proboscis now instead of some mysterious part of the hat.

I can totally see Count Renbaku in some creepy movie scene in a dark house, leading a hypnotized child away into the World of Dreams, never to return. D8

I can use this picture; but YOU can't! Ha ha!
